A Random Act of Gaming

Sorry, I just found out from my wife that we are going on a road trip to California on 09/19-09/20. I won't be able to make it to the LAN party if it is definitely going to be on the 19th. I talked to Derek and he said that he may be able to attend the 19th (depending on the time) since he has plans that evening.

Let me know what time the LAN party is going to be, and I'll pass on the information to Derek and Nathan.

I'm really bummed now. Stupid California trip ....

I imagine that we'd start about the usual time, 7:00pm, but that's really up to Jiistme since it is his house and all. But you know we go late.

Anytime works for me. Just let me know when you would like it to start Blade. I will probably be home all day that day, so really, if people show up early, we can play computer games in the garage or play the PS3 or Wii until others arrive.

Everyone should have plenty of time to get/test these on their PCs. Post any issues/resolutions here so we're all prepared.

I just installed regular ET on my Vista PC and it seems to work OK. It's hard to tell since I couldn't connect to an online game since I didn't want to download a bunch of stuff. But an LAN game with just me worked fine

Also, I tried Savage and it works just fine on Vista also.

I think both ET: QW and Savage 2 are fun. I think what I would vote for is let's be prepared to play both. If we get enough people, then we play Savage 2. Otherwise, we play ET: QW with some bots.

I agree. Let's just get both installed and patched up all the way and be ready for either or both.

Ohh...and that reminds me...I am going to ask if I can borrow some tables from work, but I am pretty sure a couple more tables and some chairs would be useful. I know I have 4 extra chairs that people can use.
